Jfusion Forum And Category Module

Overview

This module allows admin to enable/disable notification and messages in joomla website. Notification and messages updates automatically in joomla site as any new messages/notifications updated in forum. Admin have to select Jfusion Plugin [phpbb] and item id [forum itemid] to show forum notification.

Module Set Up:
  • Forum Directory Name: Replace forum by your forum directory name here.
  • Enable Notifications : Yes/No : Show/Hide Notification From Joomla Website
  • Enable Messages : Yes/No : Show/Hide Messages From Joomla Website
  • JFusion Plugin: Select Jfusion Plugin [phpbb31] from which notifications and messages count will be fetched.
  • Menu Item : Select forum menu itemid to redirect page on notification and messages page in forum.
  • Access : Registered [As notifications are always available to registered users only.]

Requirements

  • Joomla 3.x.x

Instructions

  • Download the extension to your local machine as a .zip file package.
  • From the backend of your Joomla site (administration) select Extensions -> Install/Uninstall.
  • Click the Browse button and select the extension package on your local machine.
  • Click the Upload File & Install button.
Install jfusion component first, before installing this module.
  • Go To Extension Manager-> Upload zip
  • Go To Module Manager -> Enable Module
Note: The module must be enabled.
