Instructions
- Put the files onto the server
- Setup the mysql server/database
- Rename .env.example to .env
- Input the database details into the .env file
- Run the server terminal
- Run from inside the files directory composer install
- Then run php artisan key:generate
- Then run php artisan migrate –seed
- Point the server/domain to the public folder. You need to make sure the .env file is secure by not allowing access to it from the server. An example of that you could use
- .htaccess with the following code.
